So, please go to the Amazon store that delivers to your region to shop. If you do, you won't pay a penny more, the author won't earn a penny less but I will earn a few pennies to help me buy more books to review. Thank you.
Thank you for coming back to Great Books for Kids Reviewed by Michelle Marcotte. I hope you will subscribe and hit the notification bell to be the first on your block to that a new book has been reviewed.
Here is a cute little board book that introduces the word engineering and the work of engineers to children ages 2-4. There is a lot of emphasis on and interest in STEM learning for kids, and this would be a child’s first introduction. Even children with engineers in the family might not know what engineers do.
In this book, engineers solve problems, design and build vehicles and transportation systems. Children learn this with simple words and attractive but simplistic illustrations. Girls and boys are portrayed as engineers are portrayed. The children and adults shown are of different colors and ethnicities.
The illustrations allow for play such as flipping open pages, flipping flaps, pulling sliders that change the picture. Kids love to be able to play a role when the book is being read to them.
This board book is available from Amazon.com and Amazon.ca by using the affiliate links that I have placed in the section above. Thank you!
